The advice I gave you before was just to filter already established hotbars it seems. They stay invisible until you add at least one ability to them by default. To switch to a fresh hotbar, all you do is hold R1, then a small menu that says 'Change Set' will appear. From there, while still holding R1, you can hit the D-Pad or a button and switch between a total of 8 sets in all. When you switch to a blank one, add one ability and it should appear from now on.

Also, if you want to get rid of the hotbar that has commands (Duty List, Journal, etc), it's Hotbar 8 in the Character Settings I mentioned a few days ago. Gets rid of some clutter if you don't tend to use it otherwise.

Oh, that's how? I already knew that. I thought there was a way to add a completely separate hot bar, like on PC and PS4. Off to the side kind of thing.
Thanks for taking the time though, Cast. I appreciate it.

However… I do have a question. How do you optimize your hot bar? Any tips you can tell me?

If you have 34 slots there is absolutely no reason why you cannot have at least 2-3 different macros for buffs. You're working with basically the same amount PC players are.

You received this response on the reddit post you made Yunaa, did you ever try it?

"Going to be a bit of lengthy post:

I generally pull slightly over 300 in almost any fight. I am i90 with no i95 weapon. First thing is first, make sure you are accuracy capped for the instance you're doing. Coil T5 is 475. Dungeons and primals is 363. The rest can be distributed into SKS, DTR, and CRIT.
Your stat priorities are subject to change because theres no TRUE proof of anything being more useful than others besides notions. Weapon Damage > DEX = ACC to Cap > DTR = CRIT > SKS

In terms of DPS "rotation" you should be thinking this: Keep Straight Shot buff up, Keep Windbite up, Keep Venomous Bite up, Heavy Shot anytime else.
Bloodletter and Misery's end should NOT be on a macro! This is very important as they will not go in the spell queue on a macro, you should press them manually every chance you get inbetween cooldowns. For buffs, you should be using them all at the same time, weaving them in between the global cooldown. HS -> Raging Strikes -> HS -> Hawks Eye -> HS -> etc. Then you should wait till they are ALL off cooldown instead of popping them each time they come up and rinse and repeat. You can pop internal release an extra time while raging strikes is on cooldown though. Make sure you are using Mega Potions of Dex! They are actually super important.
Another note, you should be popping Repelling Shot, Blunt Arrow, and Flaming Arrow every chance you get as well. They add up over time and can make or break a bards DPS

For songs: Don't be afraid to put up mana song during phases where you don't DPS, it will save you from doing it later. Your healers should be microing their mana better if it becomes an issue (and shouldn't be spending it on raises! No one should be dying!) . I RARELY have to put up mana song ever in Turn 5 except for divebombs and in a good run I could avoid it completely.
For cross-class skills, you MUST have Invigorate and Blood for Blood. They are super important to DPSing even after the nerfs.
DoTs: You should have your dots up on as many enemies as possible. For Turn 5, I keep the two dots up on all snakes at all times. Make sure your DoTs are reapplied to Twintania right before the conflag sets down. You generally have to find these per-fight things on your own and every wipe, try to do something better. Also, if something is going to die before your DoTs are finished ticking, it may be better not to reapply them. My general rule is: Is it going to die within 10 seconds? If yes, don't reapply DoTs.

Hope you and any other Bards find this useful!"

We really need specifics on what you're doing to help. Are you weaving ability/gcd proplery? Have you changed your setup so you can be a little more precise with your buff usage? If you're doing all of this, then the only thing I can think of is you're not hammering your buttons fast enough. There should never be times when you stop shooting, that's the benefit you have as a Bard over other DPS classes.

I did read that message a week ago.

I haven't applied DoTs on all 3 snakes. But I have applied DoTs on 3 targets before and basically as soon as I'm done putting DoTs on the 3rd target, I have to reapply them on the first target.

Yes I have been weaving buffs inbetween my GCD actions. I also use blunt arrow, flaming arrow, and repelling shot in between GCDs.

I'm constantly spamming Heavy shot while I'm waiting for Bloodletter/Misery's end to be up, DoTs need to be reapplied and when I need to reapply my straight shot buff.

I did leave Bloodletter and Misery's end off of the macro. But then added them back on.

I also told you about this message. This is the guy who said to hold all of my buffs until they're up again. Except use internal release when it's up.
